Join us for a 90-minute educational webinar exploring why every exacerbation counts and why prevention matters for patient outcomes. We will explore:

  • the urgency of preventing exacerbations, given their cumulative impact on mortality risk and long-term lung function decline
  • the burden of severe exacerbations, including those requiring hospitalisation, on both patients and healthcare systems
  • the wider economic impact of COPD and the critical importance of prevention in reducing healthcare and societal costs.

There will be a live Q&A session at the end of the webinar where you can have your questions answered by our expert speaker.

Guest speaker: Jacqui Pollington

Jacqui has enjoyed a varied career in clinical practice and service development across multiple respiratory specialities, including asthma, COPD, hospital-at-home exacerbation management, pulmonary rehabilitation, home oxygen assessment and review, bronchiectasis, COVID virtual wards, and tobacco dependence. She currently works as a Clinical Lead for a nurse-led community service that provides comprehensive respiratory diagnostics for airways disease, alongside long-term management and exacerbation support.
