QRISK, CVD Prevention & Healthy You Services

This 90-minute refresher session will help NHS Health Check practitioners strengthen their understanding of QRISK, cardiovascular disease prevention and local referral pathways.

The session will explore how to interpret and explain QRISK scores clearly, discuss cardiovascular risk with patients in an accessible and motivating way, and consider the impact of lifestyle interventions on CVD prevention.

Practitioners will also receive an overview of current Healthy You services, eligibility criteria and referral pathways, helping them confidently signpost patients to appropriate local support.
