South East Thames Faculty is pleased to welcome guest speaker, Alison Sampson, Clinical Psychologist at The Priory Group. The event will be chaired by our Faculty Education Lead Dr Jane Roome, however the webinar is open to all to attend.
During the talk, Alison will discuss health anxiety in patients and its impact on General Practitioners.
Questions will be raised around how do GPs feel about their consultation time in managing patients who somatise?
What has happened to those who were already anxious about health pre-pandemic? What have those who face challenges to self-soothe done during the pandemic? Case studies will be presented for discussion followed by a Q&A session.
