NHS England and NHS Improvement are holding a webinar to launch a Call for Evidence on Clinical Academic Careers in Pharmacy Monday 9th May 2022, 14.30 – 15.30.

This webinar will provide update on the work undertaken so far to inform the development of future clinical academic research pathways in pharmacy. The webinar will outline the aims and purpose of the UK wide Call for Evidence on Clinical Academic Careers in Pharmacy.

The work is being conducted by NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE&I) with the support of the Pharmacy Schools Council, General Pharmaceutical Council, Health Education England, National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and the Chief Pharmaceutical Officers from the Devolved Administrations.

The webinar is aimed at clinical and operational managers, education and training leads, members of your pharmacy teams and networks in NHS providers, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), educators, clinical academics and other parties interested in research careers for pharmacy professionals who are encouraged to attend to gain insights into these current developments.

This is a great opportunity to understand more about efforts to increase research capacity in the pharmacy professions and the exciting work to inform the development proposals for the developing a clinical academic pharmacy workforce.
