This event is FREE to showcase to all GPs the truth about working in a Deep End Practice.
Martin Weatherhead and Claire Norman are Deep End GPs at opposite ends of the career spectrum. After several Deep End training posts, Claire has just started as a salaried GP in inner-city Newcastle and Martin has recently retired from a 25 year career in Southwick in Sunderland. Although the graphs and statistics for areas of high socioeconomic deprivation often make for grim reading, they are both passionate about working in these areas and would like to share their experiences and their ambitions for the Deep End NENC. They are certain that by the end you will be clambering to work in a Deep End practice too!
