Speaker profile:
Ian Sweetenham studied medicine at Cambridge and trained as a GP in Bournemouth. He has been a GP partner in Huntingdon since 1992 and has also worked in ENT since 2002. He enjoys talking and teaching about both ENT and General Practice. He thinks that sometimes GPs with a special interest understand the learning needs of GPs better than specialists who do not have experience of working as a GP. The only times he has been to a UK high security prison or low security prison was to do ENT work.
