Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI)

At Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Training Hub, EDI is part of our DNA and embedded throughout all that we do.

An important part of our organisational culture is that we harnesses the different perspectives and skills of all our team and that we provide a working environment where each individual feels comfortable to be themselves and that their voice matters.

We are dedicated to creating positive learning experiences for those working in general practice throughout Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and we are committed to doing so in an inclusive way.

Recognising the diverse needs of individual learners is important to ensure we create more opportunities and continue to offer excellent training and resources for all. As you will see, we are taking steps to improve access and have introduced an accessibility tab. Your feedback matters to us and helps us to continue to drive change, so we encourage you to give us your feedback so that we can support everyone learning to their full potential.

We created our first EDI strategy in 2023 which enabled us to set a strong foundation to build upon. In 2024 through proactive engagement with system working groups, sharing best practice and seeking input from system stakeholders this has been developed to have six areas of strategic focus to embed through our programmes of work.

We have shaped our strategy in consideration of all protected characteristics and are pleased to set out our commitments to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for 2024/25.
