General Practice and Clinical Education

Many of us have taught students or young doctors during our careers. Few of us have done it with such distinction as Prof Val Wass who is a member of our Faculty and a retired local GP.  Val is our speaker at this meeting and will give us an overview of her GP and educational journey. John Spicer, Provost of our Faculty will then add to it from his perspective in practice and elsewhere.

The discussion that follows, led by Induja Bandara, local TPD and GP will be an opportunity to go into the detail of teaching within and without the primary care workplace, and offer some potential roles for GPs with clinical experience in teaching their craft. It should be an interesting session!

As ever Mona Aquilina, Chair RCGP LCARM group will update us on matters of current interest at the beginning.

GPs at all career stages welcome – including non-members.

Zoom link to access the talk will only be circulated few hours before the talk starts.
