There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of the speaker who was an appraisal lead for NHS England and NHS Improvement North West 2008 – 2025. This event is aimed at new GPs, however, all GPs welcome to attend this event.

Speaker:

Dr Adit Jain FRCGP, trained as a Dr and GP in Liverpool, obtaining CCT in 2005, and he has been a GP Partner in Knowsley, Merseyside, since 2006, taking on the job after completing a Teaching Fellow role at University of Liverpool. He has been a medical educator ever since that time, becoming a GP Trainer in 2008, and Deputy Medical Director. He was also Appraisal Lead for NHS England North West 2008-2025. He has previously been a GP Tutor for Knowsley CCG, Regional / Responsible Officer Appraiser for NHS England, Clinical Director for his local Primary Care Network and been CCG Clinical Lead for Prescribing and CVD. His active roles currently include being Training Programme Director & Primary Care Medical Educator for his local programme patch, Differential Attainment Champion for GP trainees, and being a Lead Educator. He is passionate about education and good clinical care, as much as he is about his beloved LFC, and is the father of 3 young children.
