Event Overview
One Day Essentials is a series of one day conferences – all available broadcast live online – with some also available in-person – providing expert specialist clinical training and essential information. These conferences are recorded live and the sessions will be available for delegates to access freely on our e-learning platform for six months from the conference date.

Cardiology, the branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of heart-related conditions, is crucial in general practice for several reasons. This year’s one day essentials will cover a range of subjects relevant to the work we provide in primary care. A group of leading expert speakers, who either work in or are closely associated with primary care will focus on clinical management, essential information, the latest evidence, practical tips, and take-home messages to help improve practice and patient outcomes.

- Arrhythmias including conduction defects
- Emergencies in primary care
- Hypertension
- Valvular problems
- Risk factors for coronary heart disease including lipid management
- Circulation disorders
