As part of the child neglect agenda Peterborough and Cambridgeshire Children’s Partnership Boards are providing a number of workshops for those front-line practitioners (voluntary and statutory) who work directly with children and families. It is anticipated that attendees will already have a basic knowledge of child neglect and will have recently (within the last 3 years) attended either the Boards multi-agency training on neglect, or their own agency’s training on neglect.
The two-hour workshops, facilitated by the partners of the partnership boards, will focus on discussions around child neglect case studies to identify safeguarding risks and explore how to work together to safeguard the child.
