If you are enthusiastic about helping the RCGP achieve our goals of inclusivity, or if you are interested in contributing content and ideas to support our diverse GP communities, then this is the event for you!
The ‘Reflect, Refocus and Reinvigorate’ conference held in 2023 was a welcome event for many members, and as a vital College priority has now become an annual gathering for members with a keen interest in EDI.
Building from that workshop, we have now launched 2024’s event ‘EDI in Action’, where we will share our new EDI action plan and KPIs, which derive from the Reflect, Refocus and Reinvigorate 2023 summary and key findings. This year’s workshop will allow you to tell us exactly what content or activities you would like to see or need from us to deliver those KPIs, and to proactively support and engage you, shaping the EDI landscape from 2024 onward.
Although this event will be purposed as an interactive, town-hall style workshop, it will also:
- Allow you to network and connect with peers
- Meet your EDI Faculty Leads, College leaders, and RCGP staff who work directly in delivering EDI engagement activities.
- It will also provide an opportunity you to advocate for your communityand use your voice to establish change.
We look forward to welcoming you, if you have interest in EDI at a local or national level, including Faculty EDI Leads and Community leads, if you would like to be vocal in the EDI space or are from an under-represented community.
Presenters to be confirmed.
