Overview

In this webinar, we will highlight some of the key challenges of delivering personalised care for people with dementia, particularly in relation to decision-making and towards the end of life. Personalised care is essential to ensure that individuals with dementia receive care tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and values. As dementia progresses, decisions become more complex, particularly in the context of autonomy and quality of life. Addressing these challenges is crucial for improving the quality of care and supporting families and caregivers in navigating difficult decisions. This session will explore resources for carers and professionals to overcome these barriers and enhance the experience of people with dementia during these critical stages.
