Essentials Webinar Series is a programme of 1.5-hour webinars – broadcast live – providing expert specialist clinical training and essential information. These webinars are recorded live and are available for delegates to access freely for six months from the webinar date.

This three part series is presented by Beds and Herts Faculty, and is open to all.  Part three of the series will take you on the interpretation of liver chemistry in general practice. This is a topic that we receive many advice and guidance requests for, as well as requests for outpatient review.

Learning objectives:

1.  To understand common causes of abnormal liver chemistry, with usual patterns of serum abnormality
2.  To be able to identify serious hepatology issues requiring urgent assessment
3.  To understand the Fib-4 score, and be able to apply and interpret it correctly
4.  To appreciate lifestyle changes that can significantly improve liver chemistry in NAFLD
