Essentials Webinar Series is a programme of 1.5-hour webinars – broadcast live – providing expert specialist clinical training and essential information. These webinars are recorded live and are available for delegates to access freely for six months from the webinar date.

Brought to you by the RCGP Beds and Herts Faculty, this open-to-all session will give a summary of good HRT prescribing practice for GPs, with case studies to illustrate common scenarios we see in our surgeries. There will be lots of opportunity for questions.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the session you will

  2. Feel confident doing a risk assessment before starting a woman on HRT and discussing that risk with her
  3. Know how to monitor a woman on HRT and when and how to stop.
  4. Understand which women need contraception in addition to their HRT and which methods she could safely use.
