This webinar will focus on developing a career pathway for Social Prescribing Link Workers.

Setting out NHS England’s commitment to the workforce to be able to access high quality training, qualifications and professional development to ensure that they are supported and able to develop in the roles and ensure best practice in supporting the needs of the people they support.  We will be exploring entry routes into the roles including apprenticeships and volunteering through to career progression opportunities, whilst addressing skills gaps through the Social Prescribing Workforce Development Framework.

We will include tips on how the competency framework and portfolio of evidence can be used to capture learning development including apprenticeships and qualifications.

Audience

Social Prescribing Link Workers, GPs, practice managers, ICS and ICB workforce leads, wider health and care colleagues working to develop multidisciplinary teams and the integration of care.

The webinar may also be suitable for individuals working in aligned services, such as secondary and community health services or other services where there is an opportunity to align and improve existing pathways.
