A 60 minute tour of current topics of interest in Pain management, including the use of opioids, new pain classifications and dilemmas in clinical practice, plus 30 minutes for case-based discussion.

Speaker Profile

Dr Andreas Erdmann has been in clinical specialist pain practice for over twenty years. He took up his substantive Consultant appointment at Peterborough hospitals (NWAFT) in 2002, having completed his Anaesthesia training in East Anglia. He also went on to complete the Neurotechnics Pain Fellowship in London (Bart’s and Whipps Cross) and gained the FFPMRCA as well and the FIPP (international Fellowship of Interventional Pain Practice). His current clinical interests lie in the blended application of neuroscience and philosophy in the management of complex pain.
