This GP education session is being delivered as part of the CPTH GP Education Programme. It is open to GPs and ACPs working in Primary Care in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

For this session, Dr Miguel Arbide, will be joining us to talk about:

  • Basic dermatology knowledge and tips for primary care, including identification of lesions, use of a dermatoscope, management of common lesions including referral pathways.
  • Medications including creams and how to apply them.
  • Diagnostic and management tools.
  • Rashes such as eczema, rosacea, acne  and psoriasis, and management of other common conditions such as urticaria.
  • Considerations including mental health issues in dermatology
  • Useful learning resources such as websites and conferences.

  • Diploma in Practical Dermatology 2011
  • Clinical Assistant in dermatological surgery 2012
  • GP principal 2002-2020

  • GPwER in dermatology, skin surgery and vasectomy
  • Private swimming medicals
