This GP education session is being delivered as part of the CPTH GP Education Programme. It is aimed at GPs and ACPs working in General Practice in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, however those in other general practice roles are welcome to attend.

For this session Claire Blake and George Blake will be joining us to talk about Transgender Healthcare.

Speaker profile:

Claire Blake (formally Carmichael) and her husband George Blake are passionate about educating others around transgender healthcare issues. Claire is a registered nurse and has worked in a private transgender healthcare clinic for almost 2 years to gain further experience and knowledge on the subject. Before this she worked as a GP nurse and has almost 6 years experience within sexual health. She is now working as a nurse lecturer at university and has just released her new book ‘how to make it as a student nurse’

George brings in his personal journey and his own transition process throughout the webinar. He is a support worker for youths and does all he can to help educate others about transgender people.
