This education session is being delivered as part of the GP Fellowship Education Programme and is open to Cambridgeshire and Peterborough GPs who are enrolled on the GP Fellowship Scheme, or who are within their first 5 years of practice.

For our March education session, we will be joined by Dr Mark Brookes for a discussion of the evidence demonstrating the benefits of compassion in healthcare and compassionate leadership with practical tips on how to do it. You will gain an appreciation that it is possible to show compassion in a busy GP day and that this will bring benefits to you, your patients and colleagues.

Speaker: Dr Mark Brookes is a GP partner at Nuffield Road Medical Centre in Cambridge and the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICS Personalised Care clinical lead. He was a member of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG Governing Body for 8 years before taking the opportunity to do something different when the CCG became an ICS in July 2022. He is also a GP mentor/coach for the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Training Hub.

This session will take place via Zoom. After booking, you will receive joining instructions approximately 24 hours before the event.
