About this event

The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICS Staff Support Hub is pleased to present ‘Coping with Depression’, part of our series of wellbeing webinars.

This one hour webinar, ‘Loneliness, Low Mood and Compassion’ is aimed at anyone who would like to learn more about how compassion can help with feelings of low mood and loneliness.

Since the start of the pandemic many aspects of social life and support have changed, in big and small ways. For this reason, loneliness is the theme of mental health awareness week 2022.

In this webinar we will look at how loneliness can affect our mental and physical health and at how low mood, a sense of getting by, but without a sense of thriving can result. A model for thinking about how we can help ourselves through compassionate self care will be presented. There will be some time for discussion to share as a group, to hear each other’s experiences and hear what has helped others through this time.

Signposting to other resources and discussion of what other forms of support and events the hub provide will also be available.

The event will be run by members of the ICS Staff Support service.

This session is open to all those working in health, social care, the voluntary sector or not-for-profit sector in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
