Overview

The “Hot Topics” course consists of a series of short ‘TED-style’ engaging presentations blending evidence and cases, followed by discussion which may have an impact on your practice. The course comes with a number of extra resources to give it incredible ‘added value’. We have tailored this to include key topics coming out of the Training Needs Analysis:

  • Cardiology
  • Respiratory
  • Care of the Elderly
  • Psychiatry

You will also be presented with a certificate of completion awarding 3 CPD points for attending this course. The webinar presentations will be available to view on demand for 12 months after the course date.

Course Reference Book

Prior to the event, your course reference book will be posted to your address. The book is fully referenced with recent summaries of the evidence for approximately 150 clinical Hot Topics commonly seen in primary care. All of the material is up to date and the material is completely 100% independent from any external influence. The Training Hub will ask you for a postal address to deliver this to.

Online Content

12 months access to the on-line electronic version of the book which is instantly searchable. All the original references and resources for GPs (e.g. links to on-line clinical calculators) and patients (e.g. patient information leaflets) are hyperlinked and just one click away.

NB Medical App

The NB Medical App giving you access to the content from your course day in a fully searchable mobile friendly format on both iOS and Android devices.

Booking Process:

A £30.00 fee is payable in order to reserve your space. Once you make the booking, you will received an invoice from Stripe to your registered e-mail address with a link where you can pay the invoice by card.

When  payment is received, you will be contacted for a postal address with 2 weeks of your booking. Bookings close on 10th November.

This course is heavily subsidised by Greater Peterborough Network, Cambs GP Network, West Cambs GP Federation and the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Training Hub and only for GPs working in Primary Care in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area.
