We wish to invite you to a Shingles Awareness event organised in collaboration with MSD, the manufacturer of Zostavax.
The event is mainly aimed for nurses involved in adult immunisations and practice managers, and will include:
- Provide disease awareness for shingles and pneumococcal disease.
- Provide awareness of the National Immunisation Programmes and their rationale.
- Providing awareness of changes to the GP contract and QOF indicators for Shingles in April 2021.
- Providing best practise tips for the practical implementation of the National Immunisation Programmes.
- Highlighting and signposting resources that are available to support the delivery of the programmes within their practice.
The event will be held virtually via MS Teams.
