Learning objectives:
With social prescribing having such a positive impact to people and local communities, the momentum is increasing, with the number of social prescribing link workers (SPLW) set to increase to 4,500 by 2023/24, strengthening LTP and UPC commitments to deliver 9500+ social prescribing referral by 2024.
This webinar will focus on aspects of recruiting to the role of SPLW, support to do the job well, training and development and retention.. It will build on the other webinars in our series. This webinar is targeted at both social prescribing link workers and those, managing, leading and who have responsibility for workforce development, leadership and training for SPLW’s. You’ll be hearing from colleagues in the region about their experience and spotlighting the learning from the North East London emerging leaders link worker programme.
