As part of our EDI Discovery Week, we are delighted to welcome LGBT Foundation to facilitate an engaging and informative session focused on creating more inclusive workplaces and services.
The session will explore:
- Creating and maintaining safe spaces
- The importance of allyship
- Understanding and addressing microaggressions
- Using inclusive language with confidence
- What to do when you make a mistake, and how to learn from it
We will also spotlight Pride in Practice, a programme that has supported more than 30,000 healthcare professionals across the UK to provide inclusive healthcare for LGBTQ+ communities.
The session includes a special video feature from Dr Ranj Singh (he/him), who shares how Pride in Practice is helping to improve experiences and outcomes for LGBTQ+ people.
