Ways to thrive at work so you can support your team well during tough times

This practical skills workshop, the third in a series of nine, will suit those who are relatively new to a leadership role, and equally, those more experienced leaders who would like to refresh their skills, knowledge and confidence in leading teams in today’s constantly evolving primary care environment.

Workshop Objectives

The workshop will:

  • Provide opportunity to review the impact on staff and leaders of constant change and work pressures
  • Provide reflective space to review own potential stress triggers and identify steps to maintain wellbeing
  • Examine the role of leader in promoting team wellbeing within diverse teams

Learning Outcomes

Participants will

  • Understand the potential impact of constant change/pressure on self and their teams
  • Be able to explore own triggers that can impact on their wellbeing, practice self- compassion and identify ways of maintaining own wellbeing
  • Recognise the responsibility of leaders to support team wellbeing and resilience for all team members
  • Develop practical strategies to promote team wellbeing and resilience across diverse teams
