It is a particularly challenging time to be a GP. As part of the continued support from your local RCGP
Faculty, a series of group coaching sessions from Akeso, have been commissioned. These sessions will
ensure that you have opportunities to work with peers, have some reflective time and share best practice.

Who is this for ?

These are for GPs and GP trainees. Sessions will be facilitated by experienced Akeso coaches who will co-create a safe space to talk with other GPs. Each session will last 90 minutes, and participants will be able to
attend and use the space in a way which is useful for them. This may mean that you will want to contribute
to the conversations, or you may want to attend to listen and reflect. Participants are welcome to leave
the session when it feels right for them, to do so.

Why might I want to join in?

These sessions are facilitated by Akeso coaches using a range of coaching, team coaching and facilitation skills to enable participants to meet their needs for the session e.g., decompression, using action learning
techniques etc. Content is confidential to you and others within the session. (GMC good medical practice
applies)
Previous participants have reported that they found similar sessions useful and enabled them to slow down, reflect on who they are and how they are, as well as enjoying the support of their GP colleagues, in this virtual space.

What is Akeso?

Supervision for the Akeso Network.

When are the sessions?

All sessions will run over Zoom for ninety minutes from 7.30pm.
Dates of sessions 29th March; 27th April; 24th May
