Event Overview

This event is FREE to members, £10 for non-members

Climate change is the biggest health threat currently facing humanity, and it’s already affecting us and our patients. The good news is that the actions we need to take to tackle the climate crisis also have significant benefits for our patient’s health, as well as the potential to boost staff morale and save money. In this series of webinars, we’ll be sharing top tips for positive climate action within general practice.

The majority of the actions we need to take to tackle the climate crisis have direct co-benefits for the health of our patients. In this session, we’ll explore four examples of this: medicines and the ocean, green and blue prescribing, physical activity, and plant-based diets.

Future monthly sessions: Opportunities for sustainable healthcare roles/ how to overcome barriers to involvement and Sustainable QI/myth busting and resources.
