What is the purpose of the Fellowship Conference?
Cohort 1 of the Trailblazer Deprivation Fellowship Scheme will shortly be coming to an end and as such we would like to invite colleagues to a conference that will:
- Showcase the learning by the Deprivation Fellows.
- Provide an opportunity for ICSs to identify ambassadors for promoting equity.
- Demonstrate and share the value fellowship programmes have for salaried GPs.
- Create networking opportunities.
What is the Trailblazer Deprivation Fellowship Scheme?
The Scheme supports newly qualified GPs to work in practices in areas of socio-economic deprivation. It aims to give them the knowledge, skills and confidence to practice in challenging environments and to reduce health inequalities, improving care for patients who live in poverty and/or belong to marginalised groups.
