Event Overview

Climate change threatens health across the world. NHS England is responding this and has set ambitious national targets for carbon reduction. At RCGP East Anglia we want to support our members and their practices to learn about and take action on climate change. This one hour virtual session will cover the main aspects of why practices and staff should take action, the non-clinical/clinical emission hotspots, how to use the online non-clinical emissions carbon calculator, and how to prioritise actions. The session is aimed at GP partners but if you are unable attend you are welcome to nominate an attendee from your practice such as your practice manager to attend on your behalf. The session will be run by Dr Matthew Sawyer, a GP and national expert on sustainability and we will ensure there is ample time for questions and discussion.

The same session will be run twice (18 May and 26 May) so please only sign up for one of the two advertised sessions.
