This one hour Microsoft Teams workshop will focus upon how to safeguard children who may be victims of child sexual abuse

Aim:

Aimed at front line practitioners from statutory and non-statutory safeguarding agencies. Exploring what is child sexual abuse and how agencies work together to safeguard the child from child sexual abuse.

The aims for this short workshop include:

  • Recognising the potential signs and indicators of child sexual abuse
  • Being aware of the multi-agency approach behind the investigation of child sex abuse in safeguarding children and young people
  • Being aware of the services available for reporting, investigating and supporting the victims of child sexual abuse

Target Audience

Both Cambridgeshire and Peterborough practitioners
