We’re creating an impact video to showcase the value that Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Training Hub brings to primary care, and to highlight the fantastic work happening across GP practices throughout the region.
Would your practice like to feature?
We’re inviting practices to submit short video clips that capture your team, your environment, and the positive impact of training and workforce development within your practice. This can be visual only or a short clip of visual and audio.
Your footage could include:
- Practice staff and multidisciplinary teams
- Students, trainees, apprentices, or learners
- Clinical and non-clinical areas
- Students on placement, GP Trainees or Apprentices (with appropriate consent)
- Patients’ waiting areas (avoiding identifiable patients)
- Exterior shots of your practice
- Any existing Drone/aerial footage you have used in your own marketing
- Any short clip saying what training you attended and what’s been the best thing about being on it/you’ve taken away
How to take part
Simply send us a short video clip (10–30 seconds is ideal), filmed in landscape orientation where possible. The footage will be considered for inclusion in our impact video and related communications, helping us demonstrate how the Training Hub supports practices, develops the workforce, and ultimately improves patient care across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. If we can use the footage, we will be in touch to request that you complete a consent form to support the usage.

A couple of useful tips for recording:
Location & Lighting – A quiet, naturally lit location is ideal. Find a place with little to no ambient noise (not next to roads, busy offices etc). If natural light isn’t possible, turn on all available lighting in the room.
Set Up – Use the back camera (not the front ‘selfie’ camera). This will record in higher quality. If focussing on a person, lock focus and exposure (google how best to do this for your phone) and the phone should be roughly eye-level to the subject.
Resolution and Frame Rate – Please use a minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 (HD). Use higher resolutions if available but no more than 3840×2160 (UHD). Note: the higher the resolution, the larger the video file size. The frame rate should be set to 30fps or 60fps (preferred). Again we recommend a quick google to see how best to do this on your phone make/model.
