The East of England (EOE) EDI Team is pleased to announce the launch of our multimedia LGBT+ History Month project.
LGBT+ History Month takes place annually in the month of February and the theme for this year was #UnderTheScope, which showcases the work by NHS and healthcare stuff to pay tribute to them and their dedication to providing amazing healthcare and other services, and the EDI team wanted to show special appreciation to these colleagues.
We conducted a mixture of video and written interviews for LGTBQ+ colleagues to share their stories and what LGBT+ History Month means to them. The intention of this project has been to showcase and celebrate our colleagues, and to be able to provide a reflection point in the future so we can look back and see what has changed.
