The Primary Care School at Health Education England has launched the cohort 3 of the Trailblazer Deprivation Fellowship Scheme, to support newly qualified GPs (first 5 years) employed by practices in areas of socio-economic deprivation.
The programme is open to salaried GPs in the first five years post completion of training, employed by practices in areas of deprivation. First 5s will need to be in a position to have a salaried GP job by start on 6th April.
Fellows spend between four and eight sessions per week working clinically (negotiated with the practice) plus personal development time, for which the employing practice receives backfill payment from HEE.
Deadline for applications direct to HEE is 17th February 2023.
