Relationship centred management to ensure we all get stuff done

This practical skills workshop, the fourth in a series of nine, will suit those who are relatively new to a leadership role, and equally, those more experienced leaders who would like to refresh their skills, knowledge and confidence in leading teams in today’s constantly evolving primary care environment.

Workshop Objectives

The workshop will:

  • Examine the complexity of delivering NHS services with multiple stakeholders
  • Provide techniques for effective stakeholder relationships
  • Provide practical tools to enable proactive task management for self and for team members who have a range of capabilities and needs

Learning Outcomes

Participants will

  • Understand how attention to stakeholder relationships can help manage priorities/demands
  • Be able to identify steps to effectively manage stakeholder relationships
  • Develop skills in use of tools to prioritise, plan and organise work of the team
  • Build own confidence to communicate, delegate and empower others, taking different staff capabilities, motivations, experiences and needs into account
