Moving away from the blame game to bring out the best in everyone

This practical skills workshop, the seventh in a series of nine, will suit those who are relatively new to a leadership role, and equally, those more experienced leaders who would like to refresh their skills, knowledge and confidence in leading teams in today’s constantly evolving primary care environment.

Workshop Objectives

The workshop will:

  • Provide an overview of Just and Learning Culture principles and practices
  • Review the components of psychological safety as a pre-requisite to create an inclusive Just and Learning Culture
  • Examine practical ways to promote psychological safety that will enable all team members to contribute fully to the work of the team

Participants will

  • Understand what is meant by an inclusive Just and Learning Culture and its benefits for staff engagement and patient safety
  • Gain clarity about fair accountability versus blame
  • Understand how to create the conditions for all staff to feel safe and valued at work
