Staff Voices: Creating a Workplace Where Everyone Belongs

Join us to hear Dr Camilla Tilbury and Dr Neda Barzegar (Befri) share their the lived experiences of GPs in C&P to build belonging, inclusion, and a stronger workplace culture.

Speakers

Dr Camilla Tilbury

GP and GP Trainer

Camilla has worked as a GP in Cambridgeshire for the past 18 years and currently works as a retainer GP and GP trainer. Supporting and developing the next generation of doctors is something she is particularly passionate about, and she feels privileged to also work as the Postgraduate Associate Dean for GP Training in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Outside of work, Camilla is a busy parent to four children and when time allows, she enjoys hiking and travelling, which provide a great opportunity to recharge and explore new places.

Dr Neda Barzegar (Befri)

GP

Neda is an NHS GP in Cambridgeshire. Alongside her clinical role, she is Chair of Trustees for a charity supporting women and girls affected by honour-based abuse. Prior to becoming Chair, Neda was a survivor ambassador for the charity, contributing to awareness-raising and advocacy that helped inform policy change. She has also volunteered with ‘Doctors of the World’, supporting people facing barriers to healthcare in London, and is currently involved in a programme mentoring refugee healthcare professionals. Neda’s own experience of migration and navigating different cultural identities has shaped her personal and professional perspective on inclusion and belonging.
