Welcome to our Building Belonging Discovery Week. A week of live, EDI-themed virtual lunch and learn sessions dedicated to building awareness of how equality, diversity and inclusion can shape patient care and staff experiences, and inspire meaningful changes that create workplace cultures where everyone can thrive. We’ll also be highlighting additional learning and resources available on our website, so there are plenty of opportunities to broaden your perspective and continue your learning journey at your own pace.

Patient Voices: Real Stories, Real Impact

An opportunity to listen, reflect, and learn from diverse patient experiences, helping us better understand the needs of the communities we serve.

Speakers

Florence Otule

Patient and Social Worker

Florence is an African Christian, wife, mother of three and a Social Worker who has lived in the UK for over 20 years. As a service user herself, she brings personal lived experience, alongside the experiences of her family in accessing and receiving healthcare services. This combined with her professional background in Social Work gives her a unique perspective on the healthcare system. She is passionate about using this experience to contribute to meaningful conversations about the quality, accessibility and delivery of care, and to ensure that the voices and experiences of service users are heard and valued.
