Overview

The aim of Lead. Manage Thrive! is to improve personal impact, performance and leadership skills, and have more influence within General Practice.

This course will:

  • Improve your resilience and reduce your stress levels
  • Give you ideas to take back control of your time
  • Give you tools to successfully deal with others at every level including, if necessary, manage your managers!
  • Introduce tested models of working out what needs to be done and implementing change

Delivery

Lead. Manage. Thrive! is delivered in a lecture-based format with lots of interactive activities.

In addition to the 6 CPD credits gained for attending the course, delegates will receive a copy of the Lead. Manage. Thrive! Handbook covering additional content to what is presented in the course.

Delegates will also receive 12 months’ subscription to www.gpcpd.com, home of The GP Update Handbook Online; complete with pre-prepared focused learning activities to earn further CPD credits.

Target Group

This programme is being delivered as part of our wider GP Support Hub offer to local GPs in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

This programme has been tailored to First 5 GPs and will be delivered in Huntingdon.

If you are a local GP to Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, please register and sign up as per the guidance.

If you are a GP trainee, please select your VTS scheme during registration:

  • Cambridge VTS – ‘A001’
  • West Cambs VTS – ‘A002’
  • Peterborough VTS – ‘A003’

If you are a Locum GP working within Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, please select practice code ‘A004’ during registration.

If you are an ‘out of area GP’, please select practice code ‘000’ during registration.
