Overview

BringBaby aims to provide localised educational updates allowing you to bring your baby whilst you learn.

These update events would be ideal for GPs on parental leave, career breaks, the Induction and Refresher scheme or those recently returned to work, but all are welcome.

Each update event will include educational workshops and a baby-centred session such as baby yoga, massage or music.

All events are open to those with or without babies. Small group discussions will replace baby-centred sessions for those attending without a baby.

Hear about recent updates within your profession, network with local colleagues and enjoy a day with a difference with your baby.

This programme is aimed at GPs on parental leave, a career break or those who are new to the area.  We will be hosting these events in CambridgeHuntingdon and Peterborough.

This programme is being delivered as part of the wider GP Support Hub offer to local GPs in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

Testimonial

“I found the GP Bring Baby event to be an excellent way to combine a good play session with my baby and other children with focused CPD and support to go back to work.

I was surprised by the extent to which I could concentrate and absorb the content and participate in BLS which was due to the safe and stimulating setting provided for the children.

It removed the normal barrier of trying to find childcare to attend something and actually addressed the daily challenge of occupying my baby and progressing my career – both at the same time.

It was great to meet likeminded fellow parents who experience and understand our shared challenges.”
