A week of live, EDI-themed virtual lunch and learn sessions dedicated to building awareness of how equality, diversity and inclusion can shape patient care and staff experiences, and inspire meaningful changes that create workplace cultures where everyone can thrive. We’ll also be highlighting additional learning and resources available on our website, so there are plenty of opportunities to broaden your perspective and continue your learning journey at your own pace.

Mary Lavender

Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

Mary Lavender is a Speech and Language Therapist at CNTW NHS Trust with over 20 years’ experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). As Digital Health and Inclusion Lead and Chair of the Trust’s Disabled Staff Network, she is a passionate advocate for Assistive and Digital Solutions. Working with executive teams to bring positive change and raise awareness of digital accessibility. Mary has collaborated with disability and mainstream technology companies, spoken at the House of Commons on Accessible and Assistive Technology, and is recognised internationally as an AT Scholar. She is passionate about breaking down barriers and enabling people to thrive.
