Overview 

The GP Support Hub has partnered with the East Anglia RCGP Faculty to launch a First 5 Networking Evening.

This will be an oportunity to meet peers across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and share experiences with local leaders from the LMC, CCG and RCGP.

A key aim will be to establish and support ongoing First 5 peer network groups across the locality.

Programme

The event will start off with a hot buffet dinner from 6.30 to 7pm.

A member of the RCGP faculty will then provide an overview of the GP support and networking opportunities available locally for First 5 GPs in the area.

This will be followed by a presentaiton from Dr Mark Attah on ‘Making the Most of your GP Career’.

Dr Mark Attah is a GP Partner and Trainer at Bretton – part of Octagon Medical Practice
Peterborough.

He has had a varied Portfolio Career such as Training Program Director for the Peterborough GP Speciality Training Program and Associate Postgraduate Dean with Health Education England.  He has also served in various roles for the CCG and GP Federation.

His special interests include Leadership, Quality Improvement, and Coaching and Mentoring.

Target Group

This programme is being delivered as part of our wider GP Support Hub offer to local GPs in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

This programme is open to GP Trainees, Newly Qualified and First 5 GPs and will be delivered in Peterborough.

If you are a local GP to Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, please register and sign up as per the guidance.

If you are a GP trainee, please select your VTS scheme during registration:

  • Cambridge VTS – ‘A001’
  • West Cambs VTS – ‘A002’
  • Peterborough VTS – ‘A003’

If you are a Locum GP working within Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, please select practice code ‘A004’ during registration.

If you are an ‘out of area GP’, please select practice code ‘000’ during registration.
