The NHSE General Practice Fellowship programme is no longer accepting new applications. We have now launched a local CPTH Preceptorship Programme for Newly Qualified GPNs,  please click here for more information.

Eligibility

The scheme is open to any General Practice Nurse who qualified in the last 12 months (rolling) and who is employed in a substantive post in a Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Practice

As a newly qualified General Practice Nurse, the General Practice Fellowship (Preceptorship) funded by NHS England is designed to provide you with a 2-year programme of support and education as you get established in your new post. Education

C&P Training Hub is developing a tailored programme of monthly fellowship mornings that all Nurses on the Fellowship scheme are expected to attend in protected learning time. The fellowship mornings will be facilitated by the CPTH Early Career Nurse Lead and will include lectures/education sessions on a range of clinical and non-clinical topics, delivered by experienced clinicians and trainers.

All fellows will be automatically booked onto these sessions, please advise us if you are unable to attend by emailing aimee.french@nhs.net

Dates and programme details can be found in our GPN Fellowship & Preceptorship Education Programme

Funding

Funding is via a grant to the employing practice, there is no funding direct to fellows.
