Welcome to our Building Belonging EDI Discovery Week, dedicated to building awareness of how equality, diversity and inclusion can shape patient care and staff experiences, and inspire meaningful changes that create workplace cultures where everyone can thrive.
What is it?
An EDI-themed virtual lunch and learn session on the Monday where we’ll also be highlighting additional learning and resources available on our website, so there are plenty of opportunities to broaden your perspective and continue your learning journey at your own pace.
Who is it for?
Recognising that creating inclusive cultures is everyone’s business, we are expanding EDI Discovery Week beyond general practice to welcome colleagues from across neighbourhood teams and partner organisations in the Central East ICB area. Together, we can build stronger, more inclusive communities for our workforce and the people we serve.

Speakers
Dr Annete Moyo
GP
Annete completed her medical degree in Zimbabwe and worked at United Bulawayo Hospitals before moving to the UK. She trained as a General Practitioner and is now a GP Partner in Lincolnshire, a GP Trainer and a Medical Student Tutor at the University of Lincoln. Dr Moyo also serves as Vice-President of the Zimbabwe Doctors Association UK and is Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Training Hub’s Education & Inclusion GP, where she champions equity, representation, and belonging in primary care.
Dr Jessica Randall-Carrick
GP
Jessica works as a GP in Peterborough and co-ordinates the Deep End Network across C&P and the East of England region. She is passionate about improving the health & wellbeing of those in the most challenging socio-economic circumstances and seeks to connect with others to collaborate and advocate for such individuals & communities. Jessica seeks to ensure that systems and processes ensure good quality, equitable, person-centred clinical care. She is the Regional Medical Director Primary Care & System Improvement (NHSEoE), the National Primary Care Medical Directorate Long Term Condition Lead and is also Co-Chair of the Modern Service Framework – Cardiovascular Disease.
