Cambridgeshire Diabetes Education Programme (CDEP)’s Mental Health and Diabetes training:

  • raises healthcare staff’s awareness of the prevalence and range of mental health conditions in people living with diabetes
  • specifically targets staff working outside specialist mental health services
  • over 1050 healthcare staff have already completed it and 91% report improved competence, confidence and guideline familiarity.
  • can be completed, on average, in 45 minutes or less.
