Our Inclusive Language Guide is a practical resource designed to help colleagues promote openness and understanding throughout our diverse workforce and communities. By maintaining patient safety and celebrating cultural diversity, this guide supports improved communication and prevents misunderstandings. It encourages honest dialogue to ensure inclusivity in all interactions.

The Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) is a mandatory framework used by NHS organizations and healthcare providers in England to compare the career and workplace experiences of Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) staff with those of white staff.
